Republic Day Celebration
St. Patrick’s Academy celebrated India’s 66th Republic Day with a great deal of patriotic zeal and fervour. Class One once again rose to the occasion and captivated all with their inspiring performances which included a speech, song, ‘This Land is…’ and dance on the song ‘Vande Matram’ the chant, which echoed in the school premises. Brother Benedict simplified the meaning of ‘republic’ to the young ones and emphasised upon remembering our duties to the nation. Applauding the children’s efforts, Mrs. Sheetal Negi, our coordinator, reminded the children of their identity as Indians, a fact they should be proud of. The programme concluded with the children singing the National Anthem, showing respect to their motherland.
